This series of paintings was inspired by a haunting image of leaves and fruit by Simon Verelst (1644-1721), depicting not only the bountifulness of God but also the fleetingness of time.
Encompassing not only my personal journey, the loss of a loved one left a fear that life as I knew it was over, but also the universal fear – is there still life for the natural world?
This series of paintings was exhibited at Braemar Gallery 22 February- 25 March 2018.
